The Belchatow power plant in Poland is bidding for upto €180M in EU assistance to build a CCS demonstration plant at the side of its new Alstom-supplied unit 13, as described in this Reuters video news package. The EU funding would be from the recently agreed Energy Recovery Plan’s €1.05 billion set-aside for CCS projects.
